Starter Kit

We’re telling you this is going to be the biggest Malasimbo Festival yet! And we’re not just talking about bringing together the most number of musicians and artists ever, or the silent disco, which we’re doing for the first time. There are also bunch of worthwhile activities to do, focusing on the environment and the Mangyan community. Here’s your guide to the three-day adventure! Click on the image to learn more.

Silent-Disco

Silent Disco

Those used to groovin’ to club music on a Saturday night will experience a rather different ear candy in a few days in a different venue. Only a few days more before we get together in Puerto Galera—get ready to witness Malasimbo’s crew of talented DJs bring you a weekend to remember.

Lamp-Building Workshop

We give our guests the opportunity to help light a Mangyan home! For a price of P1,000, a solar light kit can be paid for online then assembled during the workshop led by the Liter of Light Team. These solar lights will be then donated to the Mangyan communities that do not have electricity. Non-festival goers can also participate by donating to help purchase the raw materials for the lamps to be assembled by our volunteers.
